History Books of India needs to be changed

We have a right to know right histories. This is because the way we live today is influenced by the past. We can't desire for change without being aware of this.

For a long time before I began to embark this venture of expressing my views about-Why I think History Books of India needs to be changed, I was confused about what I exactly wanted to be changed in the history books so I voluntarily threw myself into the thick of it and I realised that I can certainly never make this out straightforwardly because we Indians are not taught many things(related to our own country) and we cannot know of something we are not taught.
Of all books I cannot say but being Indian I can express my concern about changes in chapter :Nationalism In India in Class X History Book_CBSE BOARD and also for the issue of not being able to read about GREAT KINGS of our own soil

Read the names given below

Women such as Mantangini Hazra Ji of Bengal, Kanaklata Barua Ji of Assam and Rama Devi Ji of Odisha
And Men such as
Bhagat Singh Ji, Jatin Das Ji, Ajoy Gosh Ji , Batukeshwar Dutta Ji, Lala Lajpat Rai Ji, Jayprakash Narayan Ji, Aruna Asaf Ali Ji, Ram Manohar Lohia Ji, Vallabhbhai Patel Ji, Chitranjan Das Ji, Motilal Nehru Ji, Muhammad Ali Ji and Shaukat Ali Ji, and Muhammad Ali Zinnah Ji

Most of the names are new to my readers I know
But what if I tell you my comrades who are in Class 10(as in session 2019-20) | were ever in class 10th after 2005 | will be in class 10th in CBSE BOARD that these names are in our History Book of Class 10th in Chapter: Nationalism In India, then how could they just slip of under your eyes? Because that's what the government under whom this book was refined in 2005 under National Education Policy wanted. This issue of realising that nationalism and freedom of India is not wrought by a few leaders at the top was definitely raised while the framing of The Book and to suppress the united opposition of Indian radicals(as me), the people who were against it wrote about other important leaders in Books but at last lines, last pages of chapters, inside side boxes so that they could negotiate without affecting their motto of teaching children of only praising few leaders at the top.

And...I remember having read about Raja Bajirao Ji(of Bajirao Mastani) in my 8th standard book
In fact now when I look back in my history books of class 6th, 7th, and 8th I'm so really shocked that these are full of brief information about various Indian Kings-names of whom I hardly remember now
Education System of India taught us about our great kings when we did not have nationalist sensibilities. By the time we started understanding nationalist sensibilities we were being indirectly taught how Gandhi ji played a role in our Independence and what western countries became democratic and the world history as whole. Even after having studied we really do not know anything about the past of place we live in-India.

I urge the people who know what we are deprived of to please make changes in history books. These people are CBSE NCERT COMMITTEE of History who have the leading power to change.
I made you(general public as me) read this so that when I call for action by posting this on Twitter to concerned authorities, Authorities know that I'm not alone, we are demanding it together and an action is really taken.

  1. Ghandhiji ka naam ji k bina nahi nikalta na? Coz it has become a habit
Baki freedom fighters k aage bhi ji lagane ki aadat daal lo
It's good and humane to recognise their sacrifices

  2. This indeed is a bitter truth. There are so many unsung personalities who have done a marvelous job in their respective fields but got no recognition. Many of them come from India. Even in the field of science people like Aryabhatta, CV Raman, Meghnad saha are hardly ever mentioned in our textbooks.
Its a noble thought that has come across your mind. I too request incumbents to ponder upon this thought.
